Every day, tin prices go up and the £ equivalent global price has now broken the £7,200 barrier, or 100% higher than it was three years ago and over 200% higher than in 1998, the year South Crofty was closed. I just can't believe Cornwall (and Devon) are not reopening their tin (and copper) mines ... real (well paid) jobs for real people, rather than cheap and nasty, though unaffordable homes for whom...?
