Almost 50 runners took part in the penultimate Downs Young Athletes League meeting on Epsom Downs on Sunday.
Ed Croall led Kingston & Polytechnic to the individual and team honours as he won the U15 2500m race by 16 seconds in 12 minutes 39 seconds. Clubmate Maddie Garner was third (13:47).
Teams: 1 Kingston & Polytechnic 18; 2 Croydon Harriers 20; 3 Epsom & Ewell 25. Standings after three matches: 1 Kingston & Polytechnic 70; 2 Epsom & Ewell 73; 3 Croydon Harriers 124 Hinchley Wood Primary School youngster Philip Bearman (11:47) scored the biggest win of the day, winning the U11 2000m by 36 seconds.
Runner-up Max Caulfield led Epsom & Ewell Harriers to the team honours.
Second Epsom runner and first girl in the race was Lucy Drummond (12:21), finishing fourth overall.

Nikolay Schubert led Kingston & Polytechnic to team success in the U13 2500m.
Schuber (13:02) was third, 43 seconds ahead of clubmate Ollie Garner with Epsom & Ewell's Chris Carr fifth (14:18).
