Marching orders for Dyer.

Forest Town 0, Nursling 4.

Nursling lost their star player Liam Dyer in the 43rd minute when he was shown the red card after retaliating following being elbowed in the face. Dyer left the field with blood streaming from his nose.

The Forest Town player involved was also ordered off.

Nursling manager Mike Lyel said the club would be looking at the referee's report and could appeal against any suspension that could follow.

The double dismissal came with the score at 2-0. Nursling had taken the lead after just two minutes when Dyer scored with a nonchalant chip from the penalty spot. Dyer had put Greg King through on goal and the Nursling forward had been upended by the Forest keeper.

The second goal saw a replay of the successful move - Dyer and Jake Wilson, pictured right, combined to put King clean through and this time he was allowed to finish.

With both sides down to ten men the second half was a scrappy affair. Nursling picked up the pace in the last ten minutes when young wingers Andy Wood and Danny Smith began to find freedom.

Wood made it 3-0 in the 83rd minute when he scored from an acute angle after receiving a long crossfield pass from Smith.

Smith was involved again two minutes later when he ran down the right exchanged passes with Jake Wilson before crashing the ball into the roof of the Forest net.

After some fixture switches Nursling find themselves away to Botley on Saturday (kick-off 2pm).
