SAINTS get back to the bread and butter stuff on Friday night when unbeaten league leaders Bradford Bulls visit Knowsley Road.

And Saints have fresh injury concerns, with Mike Bennett joining the casualty list with a facial injury.

Having lost two of their three opening Super League games, the reigning champions will be keen to kickstart their campaign and restore some normality to the league table.

Coach Daniel Anderson said: "The competition is a surprise with us in eighth and Hull below us.

"But Bradford are a high performing club and have been for many years. They also have a very potent strike force on the left with David Solomona, Shontayne Hape and Lesley Vainikolo."

Keiron Cunningham is fit and will play against Bulls after recovering well from a hip injury.

Jason Hooper has had an operation on his shoulder and is expected to be out for six months.

Maurie Fa'asavalu has a 90 per cent medial ligament tear and is anticipated to return for the Hull game on March 17.
