A PENSIONER was targeted by hammer-wielding thugs during a terrifying raid.
Alan Greenhalgh, aged 75, was at Little Lever cricket club in Victory Road, Little Lever, when masked robbers struck at 7.30pm on Monday, November 27.
He was forced to hand over a substantial amount of cash from the club safe.
Detective Constable Steve Riddle, of Bolton CID, said: "This was terrifying ordeal for this man who was going about his daily business."
