Youngsters at a Cradley school got a glimpse of Indian culture during a recent activity day.
Year five pupils at Colley Lane Primary tasted eastern cuisine and dressed up in traditional dress as part of their studies into the country. They were also visited by a guest speaker from the charity Action Aid, which works to improve life in some of India's poorest villages.
Teacher Elizabeth Smart said the pupils have recently been learning about life in an Indian village.
She said: "It was certainly an enjoyable and informative day."
