ABSTRACT images of the coast and countryside are to go on show from this weekend.
An exhibition of digital pictures by Durham City-based photographer Fred Wilkinson opens at the Durham Light Infantry Museum and Durham Art Gallery on Saturday.
Mr Wilkinson said: "I particularly enjoy the digital medium, as it enables me to be more adventurous with ideas, although I largely remain faithful to my original image with minimal computer adjustments."
The exhibition, in the gallery's Print Room, runs until Sunday, December 17. Visitors will have an opportunity to win a copy of one of the images in a competition.
