TWO robbers used a balaclava and a pair of thick white sunglasses to hide their faces as they robbed a schoolboy.

The 14-year-old was attacked outside the White Hart pub in Northolt at 9.55pm last Saturday after being followed off the 104 bus by the yobs when they got off at Church Road.

He was talking to his family on the phone when the thug wearing sunglasses put his hand over the boy's mouth, pushed him back and demanded he hand over his mobile.

The battling teenager clung onto this mobile and was kicked in the leg so he fell to the floor.

The boy tried to hold onto the mobile, which was a birthday present, but it was wrestled off him by the two older teenagers.

The plucky pupil then chased his attackers and was kicked in the abdomen as he tried to get his phone back.

The robbers, who the boy had seen when they got on the 104 between South Harrow and Church Road, were described as two black 16-year-olds.

The one with the white sunglasses was approximately 5ft 8ins tall, wearing a horizontal striped top and blue jeans.

He had a slim build and a short crew cut' hairstyle.

The suspect who pulled a balaclava over his face shortly before attacking the boy was only described as a black 16-year-old.

The muggers walked away with the boys black Sony Ericsson K705i mobile phone.
