EQUALITY AWARD: Lewisham And Guy's Mental Health NHS Trust has been short-listed for an NHS Equality Award. The award aims to encourage equal service for patients and better career development for staff.
TOY STORY: Coronation Street star, Peter Baldwin, visits Woolwich tomorrow - with a few puppets. Mr Baldwin is a collector of toy theatres and will be opening the Puppets and Toy Theatres Exhibition at Greenwich Borough Museum, Plumstead High Street, Woolwich, at 6pm.
GIFT GRAB: Christmas gifts will be up for grabs at a craft fair on Saturday. The event is being organised by the Community Association of New Eltham, and will be held in the New Eltham Library committee rooms from 10am to 4pm.
SHOE SAVER: Lewisham residents will soon be able to save on shoe leather by visiting their ward councillors and local bobby at the same time. Cllrs Abdeslam Amrani and Carl Handley are joining forces with Catford Police to hold joint surgeries in Torridon Library. They will be on the first Saturday of every month from January 2.
