WARRINGTON Hockey Club have followed Lymm by gaining promotion for a second successive season.
Both clubs formed in the summer of 2005 and went up in their first season in North West Division Nine South.
Lymm were promoted from Division Eight South two weeks ago and a 4-2 victory at rivals Northern on Saturday confirmed that Warrington will move up from Division Eight North at the end of the season.
Warrington, who entertain Timperley on Saturday, went behind to a Northern penalty flick at the weekend but levelled thanks to Mike Vickers' fine strike.
Vickers scored against just before half time and, although Northern levelled after the interval, strikes from Anthony Nickson and Ian Richards sealed Warrington's win.
Warrington are always searching for new players and anyone interested in joining the club can contact Dave Taylor on 481857.
