A car was set on fire by arsonists in Old Coulsdon on Saturday night.
The crew of firefighters from Purley was called to reports of a burning car in Waddington Avenue.
It is believed the fire in the Fiesta started in the dashboard. A spokesman for the fire service said it was deliberate and police are investigating.
