I AM writing in response to the letter Waiting Game (News Shopper, October 4).
Recently, I have had excellent treatment at Queen Mary's Hospital, Sidcup.
I waited four weeks for a physio appointment. I was referred to rheumatology and had my appointment within three weeks.
My MRI was done within two weeks and the total time for all my treatment was eight weeks.
I think you should be pointing the blame at your GP service as they should now be using the new system of choose and book, allowing you to choose your hospital and consultant to gain a satisfactory appointment time.
Queen Mary's Hospital is providing an excellent service but people are always too quick to point the blame.
