A seven-year-old pupil of Wray Common Primary School, Reigate, pedal-powered her way from Redhill to London in a fundraising challenge.
Rosie Ellis took part in the sponsored cycle to raise money for the school’s new swimming pool.
The ride was part of a SUSTANS initiative supported by many children at the school.
Wearing a ‘Save Our Pool’ T-shirt, Rosie was accompanied all the way by her dad. She said: “The whole journey was tiring, but I talked all the way with the people around me.”
And not only did Rosie and her dad complete the 31 miles, but she also cycled half-way home too.
A school spokesman said: “The school are very proud of her achievement. Well done Rosie!”
